Overall Review: I wonder why bananas are yellow. Cons: I dont like the idea of having to pay for camera licenses. We won't share your email with anybody. Pros: It makes your additional cameras work. Now it probably says its being used because it's still on my 916+ which I migrated to. They have blocked licence keys that have been abused by others.
Oh One way to massively reduce the risk, is stop the synology unit from auto updating. I've been using my keys for over a year and then upon upgrade it invalidates on of them? This is totally unacceptable change to the licence agreement. Rather than looking into possibilities of how this could be happening it becomes a futile effort of support saying unless you prove with a receipt and license booklet your the owner we won't support you. Try the free, built in 1-camera license first to see if you like it. See above, yes its crap for you and yes doesn't help you out either. So I wouldn't skip using the product based on a few users here and there.
I doubt it had anything to do with counterfeit and more to do with upgrading the diskstation and synologys poor implementation and instructions. Synology hasn't done any 'fraud' to you directly. I have had other software that continuously validates licensing with the companies server over the Internet. Even with the mass crack down of v6-7 licence upgrade issues, the number of users who complained about licence issues was sub 100 in the threads. This entry was posted in and tagged ,. This is why there's a beta.
An installation wizard will guide you through adding device licenses into Surveillance Station. But don't turn licences into a 'leasing' product. It's hard to criticize base on features only. Fixed lens cameras which provide more than one stream at a time will require one license only. This might yield an outcome where by abused licenses can be flagged hopefully immediately.
We won't share your email with anybody. But don't turn licences into a 'leasing' product. So out of the many many many units there, less than a 100 had issues. Synology said go back to amazon. What is amazon going to do more than a year later? Everything was ok until I installed beta 8 and it blocked my license! Would you jump up and down at Nike if you brought knock off shoes via a 3rd party and demand a new pair from Nike? In the table above, you can see a detailed example of our billing methods for four different camera types. Rather than looking into possibilities of how this could be happening it becomes a servile effort of support saying unless you prove with a receipt and license booklet your the owner we won't support you.
When the entire system goes down this should be escalated and looked into immediately. I have a total of 9 cameras with 10 licenses. Yep I agree its crap, I also would be upset if my licences got blocked for no reason as well. It is what it is. Note: Online connectivity is required for license activation. Convert Synology Surveillance Licence Keygen trail version to full software.
You can pay for your order in a store or even use an international credit card. Axis F44 with at most four lens provides up to five channels of video stream. Who knows - it always comes down to what your are trying to achieve in terms of outcomes, deliverables and budget - never an easy answer. Even the Lake House was faster. Address, and even have it shipped to over 100 countries - whatever is most convenient for you. Please consider some other fulfillment method!!! Its a very small number of people reporting issues.
Please enter a valid email address. When you enter your license key, it will get locked with the serialnumber of your device. But looking at the recent synology changes, they want to nickel and dime everyone all the way. It all sounds very disturbing. Once you place an order, you or someone you know can pick it up at a Kmart store, have it shipped or delivered to a U. But first I would write to synology and ask them to confirm they are invalid licences. Probably not, because then they'd just say you should have bought from somewhere that doesn't raise 10 kinds of red flags.
I unfortunately never saved my license key card, not that is seems to make a difference for some others that have also contacted support. All keys reported blocked have a purchase date from 2+ years ago. I went through this with 6 to 7 and they claimed my key was fake at first, but then admitted that their logic was off and they fixed it in a later release so it worked properly again. So 2+ years ago was before synology started blocking keys, when people thought they could just pump out the same key to every man and his dog and no one would notice! I posted earlier in this thread, as I had this problem with the 8 Beta. While I didn't elaborate on my particular situation I migrated from a 412+ to a 916+ and I didn't delete the license keys prior to migrating. I haven't heard of any recent keys purchases being blocked. So no solution is fail safe, and you have weigh up the pros and cons of each.
